Insane amout of giveaways on the ScrapBook Cruise from OhMyCrafts

The view from our balcony- BreathtakingCan’t believe it has come and gone already – wow, feels like i just started planning it.

the cruise was nothing that i expected and went beyond my expectations in many many ways as well. the generosity of the sponsors like provo crafts & bazzill still shock me – i took this lil pic of everything handed out and a few prizes but it doesn’t do the stash justice as many projects incl multiple pages and cruicut cuts of different shapes and words incl 2 full cricut cartridge and the one home decor solutions cartridge i have been dying for since february (even emailed the organizer ahead of time to see if she could arrange and get it for me; she told me it wasn’t possible) -but it was unavailable to the general public and i ‘miraculously’ won THAT exact cartridge on our first day on board – it was simply the universe doing its thing… i am still blown away when it happens.

The uber Talented Trisha from Edmonton AB

The uber Talented Trisha from Edmonton AB

Of course, my main cdn gal pal who was also an instructor,  Trisha Ladouceur- this chickadee is INSANELY talented and a friggin blast to be around – only wished we had some serious time to party, but assume its a given for the future as she is in BC quite abit for different big scrapping events.  Talent and skill simply ooze from her as she is one of those people that can look at 5 semi random sheets of pattern paper and design the most unique and original piece of art i have ever seen. her major project on the ship forced me to push my idea of scrapping and allowed me to do techniques that i never ever would have tried on my own;  simply awesome i tell ya; and for that i am very grateful.

Also loved the terrific trio from Northridge Media (they publish Scrapbook Trends mag and Card Trends mag) was fabulous- i loved Becky; she was an amazing source was wonderful energy and always had a smile on her face- she was pure joy to be around. oh yeah and the boys were way too goodlooking for their own good – wink wink-

NM and a few of their favourite suppliers were some of the sponsors of the cruise and provided us with amazing gifts and freebies incl grungeboard from TH(of course); quick quotes rub ons, graphic 45 papers, and tons and tons more.

As well as a bunch of a ‘Amir-icans’ who were fabulous incl my cabinmate Liz from FL, she was always a teacher and very talented, you should see her watercolour a cardMy cabinmate Liz showing off one of her cards...stunning – Amy and her dad were a delight as well as many more

the boat was stunningly beautiful and ridiculously clean – hhmmm, except for alil mold on the bottom of our shower curtain( really gross actually… you know how i am) food was ‘ok’ -not bad by any stretch but not knock your socks off either. but what did knock my socks off and made my belly expand was the fresh hot from the oven peanut-butter or triple choc chip cookies available ALL DAY LONG everyday!! and well, it has been said that i do LOVE a buffet -and this was no exception- oh oh, and a hot dog- they had a great hot dog & burger grill – with traditional BIG hot dogs, bratwurst, smokies, hamburgers, cheeseburger, veggie burgers and chicken breast burgers going all afternoon with good fries too!! i had one version or two everyday for lunch.

all the lil towns & excursions we went on were great and i really loved learning more about alaska – getting some great photos as well and will get another digital book prepared to record all memories very soon.

i also had the most awesome opportunity to get off the ship in Victoria and have dinner with TLC and Vee- it was wonderful and i felt really lucky to be able to share my lil home away from home with my family. vee drew me a beautiful picture that i was delighted to bring back to the ship and share with everyone i saw.
